Our 2020 Conference will be held from September 27 – 29 in Gatineau, Québec. This year’s theme is Disruptive Technologies and the Human Impact: Innovation Waves in the Ferry Industry.
In preparation, CFA is launching its call for Abstracts, soliciting proposals for presentations/workshops and or panel presentations. A limited number of technical sessions are reserved for our Sponsors (Gold & Platinum levels).
The program content will explore the interactions between artificial intelligence, robotics and automation technologies and crews and passengers provides challenges and opportunities.
We are looking for presentation proposals in the following topic areas:
Addressing the human impact of new technologies
Application of new technologies in existing vessels
Benefits and risks of artificial intelligence in the marine sector
Ferry designs of the future
Thinking outside the box: automation in the marine sector
Joint presentations are encouraged between suppliers and regional representatives (owner/operators) who can provide first-hand information on how the service and new technology has helped improve customer services.
If you are interested in presenting, we ask that you prepare an abstract of 250 words or less, describing the focus of your presentation. As well, please indicate if the presentation is better suited as a standalone, a joint presentation or part of panel under “type of presentation”.
Abstracts should be sent electronically to email@example.com by April 27th, 2020.
CFA will review the submitted abstracts and successful authors will be contacted to discuss further information on preparation requirements.
