{"id":11133,"date":"2016-01-27T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2016-01-27T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/canadianferry.ca\/news-passenger-ferry-launches-between-vancouver-and-gibsons\/"},"modified":"2016-01-27T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2016-01-27T04:00:00","slug":"news-passenger-ferry-launches-between-vancouver-and-gibsons","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/canadianferry.ca\/fr\/news-passenger-ferry-launches-between-vancouver-and-gibsons\/","title":{"rendered":"News: Passenger ferry launches between Vancouver and Gibsons"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 class=\"story-deck\">Pacific Ferries is offering free fares for its first three days of service<\/h3>\n<p class=\"small lighttext\"><span class=\"spaced\">CBC News - Jan\u00a0<\/span> 27, 2016<\/p>\n<p>A new passenger\u00a0ferry service between\u00a0Gibsons\u00a0and Horseshoe Bay\u00a0launches Wednesday\u00a0afternoon.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/pacificferries.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pacific Ferries<\/a>\u00a0says it was established in 2015 to offer commuters a fast,\u00a0reliable way to get between the Sunshine Coast and the mainland.<\/p>\n<p>\"We want to offer better quality of life for residents by giving them another option,\" said company spokesperson Linda Feuerhelm.<\/p>\n<p>The service will operate at peak times in the late afternoon and early evening.<\/p>\n<p>To attract new customers, a ride on the\u00a046-passenger vessel service will be free for the first three days.
