At Ferryhawk, our story starts not in a boardroom or tech lab, but on the decks of a working ferry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We didn\u2019t set out to build a reservation system \u2014 we set out to run a great ferry service. As a fourth-generation family business, we\u2019ve been moving vehicles and passengers since the 1970s, when our first commercial vessel began servicing Moreton Island, off the coast of Queensland, Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the decades, we\u2019ve operated everything from multi-deck ROPAX vessels to passenger-only services, and we\u2019ve tried more than our fair share of booking systems. Like many operators, we assumed the right technology was already out there. But after years of testing platforms that couldn\u2019t truly meet our needs, we realised we might need to create the technology ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s why we built Ferryhawk \u2014 a vehicle and passenger booking platform designed from the ground up by ferry operators who understand the daily pressures, the seasonal rushes, the freight quirks, and the customer experience that truly matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
